Delusioneering is a series about the ideological delusions of capitalism and the ones who engineer them. Each episode focuses on a contemporary neoliberal delusion and reveals the material (sometimes algorithmic) conditions that engineer it. From the rise of smart guns designed to keep us safer, to the half-baked promises of virtual and augmented reality, to the corporate hijacking of STEM education, to the commodified dreams of nostalgia, Delusioneering exposes the reality beneath some of today’s most dangerous ideologies.
