N Ø | S E C T Ø R (with Adam Denton) is a monthly show broadcasting new audio work and it’s like a gig you’ve put on on a Monday because your friends got in touch and it’s the only night they can play, so you expect nobody to come, then like 30 heads show up and you’ve suddenly got a night on your hands, but you keep it punctual all the same, because they’ve got work tomorrow and there’s a transportation problem, but then there’s some big joints being played at the end and you’re energised so a bunch of you decide to go to the bars that are still open and a load of new collaborations came out of that night and you talked about what it was like to live where you live and what can be done to continue to embody refusal in the face of what is often hidden but pervades every moment of your life.
Adam Denton is a noise making person.
He releases solo material as SW1n-Hunter and is/was a co-initiator of TOPH.
He has played many gigs in and out of the UK and would love to again as exchange is vital to the possibility of sustaining a strong internationalism and maintaining, as Jodi Dean has articulated, a communist horizon.
